Big Movie Project

Indeed, you read right, since Aurthy has delightfully found a way to capture AO with FRAPS in high rez and we've re-discovered a magic place which is just the perfect setting, I hereby open the movie's official thread on the forum.

We (Aurthy and I) would like for all possible participants that haven't contacted us yet ingame to voice their interest in taking part in this epic project here. The minimum requirements for participating is having a headphone with microphone system and using Teamspeak 3 which can be downloaded here. Furthermore, all participants must be aware that this is a disciplined team effort in which time is precious.

The plot of the movie, in a nutshell, is the following: We as org, as we constantly fail at keeping a tower field, are looking for a more durable alternative, and a map that leads to an abandoned mine is discovered which could perhaps provide the notum that the org requires. An exploration party is formed and enters the mine, which, unknown to all, is the headquarters for the high command of borg forces in Rubi-Ka. The exploration party does not know anything about the interior of the mine and as they split up to explore things they are confronted with the hidden cyborgs which make them disappear one by one, until the remainder of the party reaches the central headquarters room. There, faced with the capture of their team members, the remaining elements enter a dialogue with the borg leader which tells them about the true nature of the borgs and how the borgs never wanted to fight mankind, stating that the true enemy of mankind is the alien threat. A deal is struck between borgs and the org, one supplying notum, the other guaranteeing the safety of the mine and its cyborg inhabitants from external interference.


Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to participate in this epic undertaking, having fun whilst at it (but not too much!), and enjoy the rewards of having a big-screen presence which we shall make public for all AO'ers to watch and appreciate.

count me in ofc! i might get my RL hubby for some voice acting. hes really good and has a wide range of vocals i wanna use :3 i can try to get him to do it live for you or maybe a sample recording in various voices? :3 what yea think?
