Halloween 2010

Well, people, it is that time again... the festive season is upon us as usual, and that all-important event is near!!! Of course I couldn't be talking about anything less than Halloween.

The patch to bring us the stuff is coming tomorrow (Tuesday, 26th of October) and the Gawd-Ugly Pumpkin Heads will be roaming around Rubi-Ka for at least three weeks, according to This "Means" Cake, the game director, as stated in his latest "Friday with Means" thread on the official AO Forum.

Notable areas where GUPHs are known to roam include Galway Shire and Galway County as well as Holes in the Wall and Stret West Bank...

Also, don't forget to do Halloween missions to get some classic and new items!!!

Note that during the Halloween period the viewing distance is artificially reduced with darkness - to those afraid of the dark it is recommended they buy night vision goggles, available at any General shop (be it basic, advanced or superior) from the tools terminal, if memory serves me right...

Well, according to the latest info, The Final Respite items will be able to be turned into functional backpacks (able to contain items) with the help of a screwdriver - so be sure to hoard them whilst you can!!!

I found a bugged place that has about 40 UPH's hanging around all of low levels. Go through the zone correctly, it won't be there, if you enter from a certain spot and you get a error message, you're at UPH's hide out xDD.

Leetie, which zone? You forgot to tell and include the map in the shot. Also, the pictures are a bit dark, don't you think? The "darkness" can be turned off by turning off the fog in the settings section...

Apologies for going MIA for quite awhile after the picture was taken; kinda useless now to reply, but it was the incorrect zone border in Galway, near the bridge. There's a mountain nearby that if you go up on it before you zone, it says "Error: Try recrossing again..." Maybe next year?
